If you have a difficult pet and would like to visit a dog park but are unable to get there, you can book us to take your furry friend to a local dog park. We’ll spend an hour with them playing ball, or whatever they like to do. The field is very secure so your dog will be free to run around off leash to its heart’s content.
About the dog park transport service
The Dog Park transport service is available to people in and around Knighton, Presteigne and anywhere in between. It’s perfect for your dog if you struggle with recall or, like ours, it has selective hearing! Or maybe your fur baby doesn’t play well with other dogs. You won’t have the worry of it attacking another animal.
Similarly, if you have encountered aggressive dogs on your walk and your dog is nervous, this would be ideal for them. If you have a large pack of multiple dogs even better as they can have the whole park to themselves.
You have the choice of two dog parks. Either Panpwnton Dog Park in Knighton, or Penoffa Paw Paddock Dog Field in Presteigne.
How it works
We only do private trips. You can have up to 6 dogs, as long as they all get along. So if you want to double up with a friend, no problem!
We’ll collect your dog from your home in our pet transport vehicle and take it to the relative park for the allotted time. It will have fun doing zoomies around the field, or playing on the agility equipment. The sessions are an hour long, so after that time we’ll bring your dog back, duly tired out!
What happens next?
You’ll need to check the park is available and booked at the requested time.
Before we confirm, you will need to make a booking request using our online booking calendar . Simply scroll down to the ‘request booking’ button below. Choose the date that you would like to book your first trip and fill in the pop up form and submit. We’ll ask you for how many dogs, desired time, and which park you would prefer during this process. There is nothing to pay at this stage.
Once we’ve reviewed your form, we will arrange a free consultation to pop round and meet your dog. This is to ensure we’re a good fit and there are no surprises on the day. We’ll then send over an invoice so we can reserve your space. Once payment has been received we’ll then confirm your booking.
If you need to book in the future you can either use the online booking form or just contact us with the date(s) and time(s) and we can add this to your bookings. You will be able to see them in your account when you log in.
Please note we can only take the following combinations of dog sizes:
- Maximum 1 large, 2 medium, 2-3 small dogs
- Maximum 1 large 1 medium, 4 small dogs
