Dog Walking Knighton

Dog walking Knighton, Powys for dogs about town. It’s great for people who don’t have time to walk their dogs, or are unable to for any reason.

Dogs need to be active for their well being. In the wild they would cover miles and miles every day. When your dog doesn’t get enough exercise things can escalate. They can become over excited and reluctant to listen. This is when you start to see behavioural problems.

How we can help

If you live within a 5 mile radius of our location we can pop in and take your dog out for a walk as often as you need. Our typical walks are between 30 and 45 minutes, which is plenty for most dogs.

If you have an overly energetic working breed type, that may not be enough so we have a solution. If they walk well on the lead we can take them on a scooter dash. This entails the dog running alongside our manual scooter down hill. Your dog will love running alongside and it’s a fantastic way to expend lot of pent up energy and frustration.

On the other hand, if your dog has difficulty walking too far but enjoys being outside we’ve got that covered too. We can bring our large dog buggy and walk them near your home. You won’t need to worry about it being too tired and not able to walk back as we can just pop them in the buggy and push them home.

Alternatively, we can collect your dog in our van and take it to the local Dog Park for a good old zoomie session and a bit of agility. Or we could take them on one of our Doggy Days Out to the beach or local woodlands for extended walks.

Whatever you need just ask and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

What happens next

First of all you’ll need to book and complete our online questionnaire. After that we’ll arrange a quick consultation to meet your dog. During this consultation we’ll assess the needs of your pet and whether we’re a good match and discuss any potential issues. Things like pulling on the leash, reactivity towards other dogs for instance.

We need to make sure both your pet and others will be safe during the walk. So we’ll discuss leash and if it’s prone to pulling or reactivity we may suggest an alternative. For insurance purposes and health and safety reasons we need to be able to manage your dog easily.

Once we have completed the assessment and payment has been received, we’ll then be able to confirm your booking.

If you wish to book our dog walking Knighton service, please scroll down to the ‘request booking’ below where you can choose a date. Simply complete the pop up form and submit.

We look forward to meeting you and walking your 4 legged wonders. Regular dog walking is important exercise as an active dog is a happy dog.
