Doggy days out Wales. All dogs love to explore, so they’re going to love our Doggy Days Out adventures. It’ll also be a nice break from the norm and will challenge their senses.
We do a selection of 2 and 3 hour woodland trips and a 6 hour beach day out.
Beach Days
Our first adventure takes your dog to Ynyslas Beach, Borth on the Wales Coast Path. This trips runs every Saturday and is a 6 hour day and involves 3 hours of travelling. The rest of the time will be spent at the beach and resting at a dog friendly pub before heading back. Your pal will get to run around on the sand, paddle in the sea, and frolic in the dunes.
Woodland Walks
Our shorter trips are 2 and 3 hours long and are local to Knighton.
The first of our 2 hour trips visits Kinsley Wood/Offas Dyke which operates every Tuesday to Thursday. We’ll take your dog for a 1.5 hour walk around Kinsley Wood and part of the Offas Dyke Path.
The second 2 hour trip visits Fishpools, Radnor Forest. Your dog will join us on the moderate 2 hour Fishpools Walk for 2.5 miles through woodland. This runs every Friday.
Our 3 hour Sunday trip takes us to Water Break Its Neck, Warren Wood. Your dog will get to explore two trails. The first is the easy Waterfall Walk which is a distance of half a mile. And the second is the moderate Water Breaks Its Neck trail which goes above the famous to Water Breaks Its Neck waterfall.
How it works
We will start by collecting your dog in our pet transport vehicle. Your dog will then be taken safely and comfortably to the destination of choice (with or without other dogs on board).
It will have a great time sniffing out new smells and generally having a fabulous time in nature where it will thrive before heading home.
Our public trips are available to book per dog on selected week days, bank holidays and weekends. If you wish to book one of our private Doggy Days Out to a destination of your choosing, please get in touch.
Before they travel all dogs must be microchipped and have current vaccinations. They should also be wormed and flea treated to help avoid cross contamination.
The clue is in the name so only 4 legged passengers of the canine variety are allowed. But don’t worry, we’ll take good care of your dog and make sure it has a ‘wag’tastic time.
Your dog is special and deserves a treat. Doggy Days Out are purr-fect adventures for pawesome pooches.
We look forward to meeting your furbabies.
