If you have a difficult pet and would like to visit a dog park but are unable to get there, you can book your dog a place on our van and we’ll take your furry friend to the local dog park which is basically a secure local field. Your dog will be free to run around off leash to its heart’s content.
About the Park
The Knighton Dog Park service is available to people in Knighton and surrounding areas. It’s perfect for your dog if you struggle with recall or, like ours, it has selective hearing! Or maybe your fur baby doesn’t play well with other dogs. You won’t have the worry of it attacking another animal.
Similarly, if you have encountered aggressive dogs on your walk and your dog is nervous, this would be ideal for them. If you have a large pack of multiple dogs even better as they can have the whole park to themselves.
The one acre field is secured with 6 foot fencing and a secure gate and flood lit in the winter seasons. It has agility equipment for the more athletic dogs and water will be supplied.
How it works
You can book on a public trip – perhaps you and a friend have a few dogs that all get on, but maybe one or two are not so great at recall and you don’t feel comfortable letting them off in public. Or a private trip – if you have a particularly reactive or unsociable dog .
We’ll collect your dog in our pet transport vehicle and take it to the park for the allotted time. It will have fun doing zoomies around the field, or playing on the agility equipment. The sessions are an hour long, so after that time we’ll bring your dog back, duly tired out!
What happens next?
First of all you will need to make an online booking. Simply scroll down to the ‘request booking’ button below. Choose the date you would like and fill in the pop up form and submit.
Once we’ve reviewed your form we’ll request payment. Once payment has been received we’ll then confirm your booking.
If you can’t make any of the scheduled dates, just get in touch and we can see if we can accommodate you. Of course it will be subject to the park being available.
We look forward to meeting your unruly hounds and giving them a bit of off leash freedom.
