If you are moving house you can also benefit from using our pet transport service to anywhere in the UK. Based in Powys, right on the England/Wales border, we are well located for transporting your pets in Wales, West Midlands, South West and North West England. However, we cover the whole of the UK and the Isle of Man.
Our Vehicle
We have a fully equipped vehicle with 5 custom built cages. Each cage has an escape hatch in the unlikely event of an emergency. They also have anti-slip flooring and a quilted lining for your pet’s comfort. We’ve even thrown in a few wool filled pads for their joints. The van itself is fully insulated and ventilated. There is also a viewing area so that we can see your pet from inside the cab.
Our Obligations
We hold a DEFRA Animal Transporter Authority Type 2 ‘Conditional’ which permits us to transport dogs, cats and rabbits anywhere in the UK. The total duration of the journey with the animal on board is 12 hours from on-loading to offloading at the final destination. It also means we have to adhere to strict animal welfare guidelines.
To keep your pet safe, we will be stop and check on it throughout the journey. Your pet will be offered water, and food if necessary, and toilet breaks when needed. We endeavour to ensure your pet will have a comfortable and stress free ride.
Please note that we are not licensed to carry people so you will not be able to travel with your pets. All pets must have up to date vaccinations and be micro-chipped, wormed and flea treated prior to travel.
For all your pet transport and relocation needs we’re happy to assist. Book our pet taxi in Wales, your go to pet chauffeur.
